What is the Difference Between Front Load and Top Load Washers?

    1. Front load and top load are terms that are derived from the side in which you insert a load of clothes into the machine washer.
    2. A top load washer is a washing machine that has a lid that opens in a vertical position at the top, from which you introduce your clothes.
    3. A front load washer has a door on its front side that opens horizontally.
    4. Front load washing machines have a tempered glass door which is made of thick glass to withstand the pressure inside the wash tub.
    5. Top load washers are convenient because you can use them while standing, no need to bed.
    6. A front loader is, however, more efficient in water and energy consumption.
    7. Front loaders are usually more costly and carry more washing options and features.
