What is an X-Balanced Speaker in a Sound System?

      1. An X-balanced speaker is a speaker that has a non-circular diaphragm.
      2. Speakers are traditionally made in a circular shape as seen in the speaker enclosure.
      3. X-balanced speakers assume a square shape, giving more surface area for diaphragm movement.
      4. The diaphragm is the part of the speaker that vibrates to push sound signals out of the speaker.
      5. More diaphragm area means you will hear your audio loud and clear, as well as, a richer sound overall.
      6. X-balanced speakers work well with other speakers, especially the small high-frequency sound tweeter speakers.
