What is an RCA cable and what does it do?

1. 1. RCA cables are wire connectors that are used to carry audio and video signals.
   2. You can for instance use an RCA cable to transmit audio from your TV to your Bluetooth speaker.
   3. They have an iconic multi-color design (red, black, yellow, and white) and are slotted in ports with matching colors.
   4. They derive their name from the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) which first designed the cables in the 1930s.
