What is a QLED TV and How Does it Work?

    1. QLED means Quantum Light-Emitting Diode.
    2. The QLED display technology works like an LCD with the presence of a backlight and Quantum dots.
    3. The backlight is usually made of LEDs (light emitting diodes).
    4. The backlight LEDs and Quantum dots give the name QLED TV.
    5. The quantum dots are small particles within the screen that amplify the color and brightness of the LED light.
    6. Samsung QLED TVs have used this LED backlight and Quantum Dot display technology.
    7. LG has a different approach for their QLED TVs, where Quantum Dot LEDs emit their own light.
    8. The LG’s QLED setup does not rely on a backlight source.
    9. A QLED TV is superior in screen brightness because of the backlight.
    10. The Quantum dots step up this brightness to give you clear pictures.
