What is a DTS decoder in TV?

1. 1. The DTS decoder decodes audio signals from various sources and then projects them in a multi-channel fashion to give you a surround-sound cinema-like experience.
   2. Developed by DTS Sound company, the DTS can reproduce sound in up to 6 channels.
   3. The resulting experience mirrors the Dolby Atoms effect that allows you to hear more detail and form more feelings from the audio you are listening to.
   4. This allows you to not only follow what is going on TV but also enjoy the show,  live game, or video game.
