What does frequency range mean in speakers?

    1. Frequency refers to the number of sound waves passing through a given point within a given time.
    2. Frequency simply refers to the intensity or sharpness of sound.
    3. Home theatre and high-fidelity sound systems have wide frequency ranges to properly reproduce different sounds.
    4. A frequency range defines the lowest and the highest sound frequency a speaker system can produce.
    5. A bass guitar, for instance, produces low-frequency sound (up to 60Hz) while the highest note of a piano produces a high-frequency sound (around 4186 Hz).
    6. In order to accurately reproduce these different sound intensities in an audio clip, you need a wide frequency range.
