What does fixed focus mean in a phone camera?

    1. While most modern phone cameras are designed with autofocus, some still come with fixed focus.
    2. For the lens to focus effectively, it must be able to move closer or further away from the image sensor.
    3. Fixed focus refers to static camera lenses that are fixated at one point and cannot be adjusted.
    4. With this limitation, however, fixed-focus cameras can still focus almost all the objects in the field.
    5. This is because such cameras can take focus on large depths of the field because of their small aperture.
