What Does Dynamic Contrast Ratio Mean in TV?

    1. Dynamic Contrast Ratio is a feature that is included in television sets to automatically improve image quality.
    2. Contrast ratio is the difference between the brightest color (white) and the darkest color (black) that can be produced by the TV screen.
    3. Samsung TVs for instance, have a dynamic contrast function that detects the TV input visual signal and adjusts the picture to create optimum contrast.
    4. This feature/function makes it easier to see objects especially when you watch scenes acted in the dark or at night.
    5. A processor within the dynamic contrast unit increases the image brightness to improve contrast.
